It seems that the guestbook software is throwing a few glitches. We've had a few reports of random "permanent bannings" and posts disappearing. Please accept our apologies if either of these happen to you and, if you want to enter a message but it won't allow you, feel free to email your message and the name / location you'd like put to the email on the home-page

We've found that the vast majority of Ashtead residents are overwhelmingly supportive of SSAFA, Headley Court, the Armed Forces and our campaign. The 90 or so objectors, and their attitudes, do not represent most Ashtead residents from everything we've seen. Please, in thanks to all those people, bear that in mind when posting!

Thank you to everyone who's helped achieve this wonderful result. We've known from the outset that the concerns raised were misplaced. SSAFA and the families concerned will now have the chance to prove that. We know they'll be more than equal to the task.

Oh, and thanks for all the fish

I hope that, in the future, when the mean spirited residents of this road see the families coming and going from 36 Grays Lane, that they hang their pathetic heads in shame at their disgraceful and selfish behaviour, in the knowledge that across the whole nation "Grays Lane" will be associated with the worst kind of human behaviour.

 Well done to all involved. Thanks to Sue for her emotional speech, everyone was with you. At it was approved in accordance with the planning rules as it met all the criteria. Again to any one who voted at Downing Street, sent letters of representation or money to fund the other activities thank you very much.
I hope that everyone reading this never has to use it, however if you do have too, the whole of the country, including Ashtead give you their support.

 Congratulations!!! Thanks to everyone who tool part for the Blue Team.

I am confident that that the residents of Grays Lane will become proud of the despearately needed facility but above all will be supportive, compassionate, and protective to the families who will use it.
